Poems of a whimsical wanderer wanderer

Mindlessly I wander
Floating in the abyss of existence
I feel my feet trodding onto grass,
then cement, marble, then carpet
then suddenly I'm onto cobblestones
the world in my head goes awfully silent, it all stops for a moment.
that's when I knew, I've fallen in love
in love with the way the sun light hits the side of an old tavern, pub or just an awfully old limestone bricked up wall connected to some sharp centre roof
all at once, bells joined the chorus of my heart singing
I found that my little toes were squealing "don't move", "don't ever leave"
It's all coming together, this place has effortlessly stopen a place in my stone col, icy castle of a heart
unlocked doors I forgot existed
Warming up the ones that have hardened in th dark winter of what's left in this shell of a body
